Specialties
San Diego is a majestic city, and there's a special place where you can enjoy all of its beauty in a single, scenic view. At Tobey's 19th Hole, guests not only can take in the skyline, but they also get the classic hospitality of a restaurant that's been family-run for four generations. We've added a few TVs over the years but, other than that, our dining room has kept every bit of charm since the day we opened in 1934. Whether you're finishing a round of golf or looking for the perfect mimosa, you're sure to have a great time with us at the 19th hole.
History
Established in 1934.Eight decades ago, our great-grandfather opened up a hot dog stand in Balboa Park. We've grown a lot since our humble beginnings, and we've kept every bit of charm from the days we first opened. Now, both locals and visitors alike know us as San Diego's favorite hangout for beers, breakfast, and brunch with a view.
Owner
Chris is part of the fourth generation to run Tobey's 19th Hole, and he proudly brings his personal charm to the amazing folks who visit us. We love getting to know new people and sharing our down-home dishes with everyone who comes in. Chris T.

My husband brought me here, this is where I first had breakfast with my to be future in laws and then now our kids come with us. Food is amazing. You cannot beat the view of downtown San Diego along with the beautiful green grass from golf course.

Thus has been our go to place for breakfast for years. Always good service and proper diner food. Prices have gone up over the last couple years but it's still a great deal. Great views of downtown. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

When my wife and I have a chance to grab breakfast together we love going to Toby's! Nothing fancy but has good food. The place kind of reminds me of a older locally owned restaurant. Eggs, omelettes, pancakes, and hash browns make up the majority of the breakfast menu.
